eKitty app for iPhone and iPad

eKitty allows you to manage transactions between family, friends and colleagues without the need for cash, transferring money or worrying about whos turn it is to pay. It does this by allowing you to easily add members to an electronic kitty. This is similar in some ways to a traditional pop of money kitty, but has a number of important advantages:

1) Nobody holds the balance, so it doesnt rely on any one person being present.
2) A transaction can involve any members of the kitty.
3) All the members involved in a transaction can pay different amounts if they want to.
4) After any update, all the members of the kitty that have eKitty installed will get notified and their local copy updated via KittySync.
5) No one has to pay any money up front.

It does this by internally managing an account between every two members in the kitty. It then uses the overall balance of each member involved in the transaction to decide who should be paying. This of course can be changed. With larger amounts, all the members might want to contribute and they can do so easily. The detailed help screens describe this in more detail.

You can share your kitty with the other members and connect to other kitties. A comprehensive help manual is available from the main menu, but each page has a help button at the top which will provide context specific help for that page.
